The Harris Museum, Art Gallery & Library, in partnership with UK Young Artists, are excited to present G R A F T - a show of UK young artists.
What it does: Showcases a cross section of artists using various materials, thinking about diverse subject matter and provides an opportunity for the public to access and learn about new ways that contemporary art is being made right now.
We all understand what it means to work hard and to strive towards the things we are passionate about. G R A F T is a platform for artists aged 18-30 to announce themselves professionally, share what it is they do, and be given a paid opportunity to exhibit their work in a major institution such as The Harris.
The exhibition was developed by artist and curator Garth Gratrix in response to the UK Young Artists City Takeover: Nottingham 19, which showcased over 250 artists and their work. G R A F T is a continuing legacy for this to support young artists to show their work.
