A presentation of work by Claye Bowler, Morgan Dowdall and Beverley Duckworth, who through their works present profoundly personal relationships and attitudes towards the human body. From demonstrating a confrontation in response
to body politics; to the reminder of the common; and the forgotten remnants that the human body that leaves behind.
Each of the works in this show presents the body as a physical archive of time and memory. Content warning: themes of body dysmorphia, transphobia, and self-harm.
This exhibition has been curated by Saziso Phiri, as part of UKNA City Takeover, Leicester 2022. Between 25-27 February,
75 new and emerging artists take over and animate the city of Leicester with exhibitions and performances across music, spoken word, dance and theatre and film.
